What happens when your Orange County Home expires? You've already gone through the selling process once: you selected an agent, agreed to allow them a certain amount of time to market the property, and it didn't work out. Now your home has been flagged as an expired listing.
As a homeowner, you have two options. First, you could decide not to list again. Perhaps your initial plans didn't work, or a job transfer isn't happening again.
The second choice is to list again. When you do, you can either go with your initial agent or pick a new one. Most people pick a new agent since the first agent wasn't able to achieve their goals.
When picking a new agent, interview multiple agents to determine the right person for the job this time around. You don't want the listing to expire again. Have multiple agents come into your home so they can get a feel for the property.
Have the agents explain their marketing strategy. Make sure you understand that they're going to do for you this time that is different from the last agent. Why will this agent be able to sell your property now when another agent failed to once before?
When you interview us, it's an opportunity for you to learn how we market homes and for us to understand your goals for your home sale. Again, make sure you interview a lot of agents so you can pick the right one for the job.
