Right now, we’re experiencing a shift in the market. When you look at home sale activity, historically speaking, more homes usually sell in February, March, and April than in the latter part of the year.

If you are planning on buying or selling a home this year, you need an agent with a dynamic strategy. That means the agent’s strategy changes when the market changes. If you work with someone who uses the same strategy for February, March, and April, it is likely that you won’t be able to accomplish your real estate goals this fall.

You need an agent who understands the market. Make sure you ask the right questions when interviewing agents. Ask about how the market is doing. How will your home sell in this market versus the spring market? If you’re a buyer, how long should you expect to look for a home in this market versus the spring market?

The real estate market is always changing. If you work with someone who doesn’t understand those changes, you’re not going to win.
